The rules
We understand that there is a certain amount of responsibility that is assumed when you consume alcohol. We are also responsible people. On the night of September 24, 2005, the esteemed team of "drinkers" will convene at Lodo's Bar and Grill in downtown Denver to raise money for the Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort. They will be required to abide by the following rules:
- A mixed drink, a beer, a non-alcoholic beverage, or a shot count as 1 drink.
- You can only have 3 shots for the entire event.
- The "sober spotters" have absolute control over the drinking. If they say a drinker is done, he may not consume any more alcohol for the evening. If the drinker would like to continue, he must consume only non-alcoholic beverages.
- In order for a drink to be counted, you must bring it to a "sober spotter" who will log your drink.
- Be safe. Be smart. Don't forget to have a good time.
- Drinking and driving will not be tolerated. We will arrange for rides home for all drinkers.
