To all of the participants, contributors, and attendees,
I just wanted to send a note out to everyone thanking you all for your contributions this weekend. Our total donation to the American Red Cross is going to be $10564.52! That is a huge number considering that we only had 1.5 weeks to collect pledges for this fundraiser. Thank you everyone for all of your hard work.
  • Thanks to Bill who got his company to give us an additional $1500 dollars over his pledges.
  • Thanks to Julie, who sacrificed her dry pants in order to play catch with a stranger and collect 30 dollars on Saturday night. He was not a good catcher at all. Julie also collected 17 phone numbers, which I am sure she will use to follow up and get additional donations this week. Oh and if you are the catcher guy- she accidently deleted your number from her phone and will be at Lodo's on October 8 if you would like to talk to her. See Julie, I tried...
  • Thanks to Amanda for tracking all of our drinks for the night and making sure the gold star stickers right over my nipple did not fall off. The extra lap around the areola with your finger each time really helped.
  • Thanks to Jasmine, for not dying on Saturday night and creating a publicity nightmare for us all.
  • Thanks to Lucas, for somehow consuming 16 drinks which is enough to kill a rhinoceros. Thanks for not dying as well. Your hat will be missed.
  • Thanks to Ray, for somehow pulling in a huge amount of donations and an additional sober spotter in record time.
  • Thanks to Dave, for helping my drunk ass figure out what our total was for the night after Amanda had to drive Jaz home, leaving us without a sober person who understood the form and more importantly, a calculator.
  • Also thanks to Dave for helping me haul Jasmine's carcass out to the car.
  • Thanks to Joe and Jaz for working the crowd and getting a ton of on-site donations. Jasmine would also like to apologize if any of the girls were asked to perform a promised booby show at 1:25am.
  • We would also like to apologize to the people who gave money expecting a booby show at 1:25am. You may contact Jasmine on the Contact us page and she will personally visit each of you to fulfill her obligation.
  • Thanks to Bryn, for collecting pledges even though she wasn't going to be able to attend the event.
  • Thanks to Amy, Joe, Amanda, and Tiana for staying sober all night, doing the heavy lifting, and driving us all home. The entire event would have been impossible without you.
  • Thanks to Bob and Lynn at Instant Imprints for printing our awesome "drunk." and "sober." t-shirts. Without you, the people at Lodo's last Saturday would not have been as generous.
  • Thanks to Allison and Katie at Lodo's for letting us use our favorite bar for the Drink-a-thon.
And finally, a very warm thank you to everyone who contributed. You all dug deep and helped your fellow Americans when they needed it most. The organizers of this fundraiser have received a great deal of praise for our efforts. Know that with each thank you we receive, we realize that you are the ones who should be thanked.
The night was a complete success because you all made it a success. Now, who wants to have another one for Rita next weekend?
